The Central Coast Lightning is a semi-professional association football club based and located on the Central Coast of New South Wales. They are the main “feeder” club for the professional A-League club the Central Coast Mariners. As well as fielding a team in the NSW Super League they also have junior clubs that have teams as young as Under 8 which play in the various club competitions along the Central Coast.

The Lightning has played in the NSW Super League for close to 8 years each year doing well but not well enough to finish in the finals or be promoted into the NSW Premier League. Since 2005 they have reached the knock-out stages but falling short of the Grand Final.

The Club colours are similar to that of the Central Coast Mariners playing in a yellow and navy blue styled shirt navy blue shorts and yellow socks. Although their kit can change according to league and age group their U/20 mens play in a light blue and white shirt blue shorts with white stripes and white socks.
